1) Children benefit from puzzles and games that exercise their memories and allow them to practice the skills they learn in a fun manner. And, in this computer age, it's good for them to learn how to use a computer.
2) As a parent, I want my children to have a safe environment for doing these things, and as far as I'm concerned, the less adds they see the better!
3) The site that hosts these puzzles runs adds at the top of the pages, and along the sides, so it's very difficult to remove these from a child's visual area when he/she is playing the game. By embedding the games here on my blog, your child can play in a less distracting environment and safer.
The games are located on a seperate page of this blog. I may change the games from time to time, or just add new ones as I find them. Please, let me know if there is a game you would particularly like to have available to your child.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE BUTTONS ON THE GAME SCREENS AND LINK TEXT BELOW THE GAME SCREENS THAT CAN TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE HOST WEBSITE! I CAUTION YOU TO STILL HAVE CLOSE SUPERVISION OF YOUR CHILD WHILE THEY PLAY THESE GAMES. LITTLE HANDS TRYING TO MANIPULATE A MOUSE OR TOUCHPAD MAY ACCIDENTALLY CLICK IN THE WRONG PLACE.
Hi Elizabeth, thanks so much for visiting my blog. I'm enjoying looking around your blogs this morning. I am a busy nana to four toddlers, so want to spend some more time here, great ideas. I like the Mom's Journal that you link to on this site, I may get that for my daughter. Thanks for all that you share.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you,
Abby
