I'm still here!

I recently got an email from Jimmie, (Jimmie's Collage), that helped me decide whether or not I should continue this blog.  She graciously asked me if I would do a guest post on her new notebooking blog, The Notebooking Fairy.  I was surprised and very honored!  Mostly because I'm so new to this blogging world, and she's a 'pro'!  I'm not sure when that guest post will appear, but I'll be letting you know when it does. =)

As far as this blog goes, I was on a roll with my topics for posts, and then it was all shelved for a long time.  I'm reviewing where I was and making a new outline for what I had to say.  I was still in stage 1: 'basic info', not ready yet for stage two: 'journaling' approach.  When I have it all figured out, I'm putting myself back on a 'once a week' schedule for posting.

See ya soon!

  1. Hi Elizabeth

Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog... we have a fair bit in common blog-wise... Like yourself, I decided to post once per week... also my blog came about as the result of trials which I was (and still am) facing.

Hope you get clear guidance as to what direction to take your blog... I was in a conundrum about such a good many months ago also. However, in my case, I was spending too much time online and prayed about this. I didn't want to give up my hobby (papercrafting)although I was willing to if God showed me I should... neither did I want to stop sharing God's Word and the helps He has given me. As I continued to pray, I believed the Lord directed me to the SSIC challenge blog where I learned that I could combine both papercrafting with sharing my faith online... all with the added bonus that I now spend less time online as a result.

God will guide you too as you seek His wisdom. He is even concerned with our concerns regarding the world of Blog :D

    Hugs

  2. I'm sure you have noticed that I'm a former homeschooler and presently teach a preschool Sunday School class. I know about that time crunch thing only too well. We didn't get the internet until our son was high school age, so I taught myself how to use it so we could get some schooling materials online. I began going to different websites and ended up as a moderator for a homeschool forum at www.oldfashionedliving.com for over a year, then got into paper crafts -- scrapbooking and cardmaking. I found this new world was like a library at my fingertips and would struggle to stay off it. Eye candy! Now that we are having some financial problems, I get online only at the library which has helped me from spending too much time surfing the net. I have to spend my time wisely (1 hour limit) and so I'm spending my time with Stampin' Sisters in Christ. I hope you have a blessed Easter! :)
